Hello wedding planners! With the rise in popularity of "themed" weddings, I wanted to share a great book we have floating around the office, "Vintage Wedding: Simple Ideas for Creating a Romantic Vintage Wedding" by Daniela Turudich. Although this book is not written from a wedding planning point of view, it is a very interesting and easy read, filled with lots of ideas and great vintage illustration and photography. The book includes everything from vintage fashion (including wedding gown, maids, and men's formal styles), popular color schemes, actual wedding cake and dessert recipes, recipes for punch and cocktails, vintage styles in floral arrangement, popular choices for reception and dinner music, and even favor and gift ideas from every decade from the turn of the century through the 1950s. Whether you're looking to add a fun vintage touch to your wedding or you want to go all out with a fully vintage themed wedding, this book is definitely an interesting read!
