When Darion Longmire of Maribella Photography came to Stonegate Manor to do a style shoot, she envisioned a concept beyond design alone. She hoped to create a shoot that would promote more diversity within the wedding community. Darion partnered with a team to show that beauty comes in more than one form. Jenny and Jason Photography, a style shoot partner, says, “The Spring Peach Shoot was designed for all of us who wanted more diversity in our wedding photos. The style of the shoot was light and airy with accents of peach.” Valerie Michele Photography, a photographer partner for the shoot, helped to curate a meaningful look into the wedding industry with her skilled eye. This elegant theme pulled out ethereal elements for an overall breathtaking shoot.

The team started by using the natural beauty of Stonegate Manor’s property. This historic estate offers a lush lawn, fantastical woods and private bridal salon. Jenny and Jason say, “The property includes a perfect mix of the outdoors, a beautiful bridal salon and a Victorian-inspired manor with beautiful indoor locations.” The team used these spaces to frame their peachy palette. They were able to capture some gorgeous shots around the entire property, showing off all of its charming aesthetics.
This shoot included four bridal looks—each with their own grace. Brittany Carpenter, of Paint My Mind Photography and Design, stuck with natural looks while styling the makeup and hair. They wanted to keep with an earthy, peach palette and neutral tones. The gowns, from Detroit Bridal House, mimic this elegant design with simple lace details and flattering necklines. Styled by Markie added gorgeous, statement jewelry pieces to top off the looks.
When it came to florals, Flowelry Art included perfect hues of soft pink, white and touches of green. Jenny and Jason say, “The colors matched the theme of ‘peach-inspired’ well with their soft, pastel palette of peach, orange, pinks, etc. The flowers were less stuffy and formal than many indoor ceremonies we photograph and many had nice curves and unique style to them fitting the outdoor venue and unique shoot as well.”

This shoot included the beauty of style with the beauty of love. The peachy-inspired palette was the perfect tone to inspire total grace. Valerie says, "My favorite detail was definitely the beautiful florals! I love the pink and orange peachy tones with just a touch of tropical vibes."
