Spring and summer in the Midwest bring a fresh sense of possibility—and what better season to celebrate love? From blooming gardens to golden-hour vows under open skies, this time of year reminds us why weddings here feel so magical. In this issue, we’re thrilled to showcase real weddings and inspired style shoots that capture the heart and soul of our region. Whether you’re newly engaged or in the final stages of planning, we hope the following pages offer ideas, encouragement and plenty of beautiful moments to spark your imagination!
Don't miss our roundup of bouquet styles, perfect for every wedding theme. Plus, be sure to check out our organic, springtime cover shoot at Cornman Farms in Dexter, Michigan! This talented team of wedding pros curated an eclectic shoot filled to the brim with natural, romantic details. And if you’re looking for even more planning inspiration, we’ve got plenty of creative ideas for incorporating the Pantone Color of the Year, Mocha Mousse, into the details of your big day! This rich, warming brown evokes the comfort of coffee and chocolate—perfect for couples looking to bring a sense of warmth and understated elegance to their wedding.
Lastly, this May, we had the chance to host our sixth Photographer Collaborative Style Shoot Event at The Cox Ranch in Custer, Michigan. It was an inspirational day packed full of creativity and fun, working with planner Allison Kelley of Your Little Details and Lead Photographer Chrystin Melanie Photography. We also hosted an incredible group of guest photographers who had the chance to network, learn and add a collection of beautiful images to their portfolios. Be sure to check out their photo spotlights from the event throughout this issue!
Wherever you are in your wedding planning journey, we hope this issue leaves you feeling inspired, encouraged and reminded that love—Midwest-style—is something truly special.
Happy wedding planning!
