The Wedding Story of Mckenna and Jon Harrell
Carri Fras | May 10, 2017We think it’s safe to say that at least once in our lives, we have all had that moment when we have playfully written down our name with the last name of our love interest, crush, boyfriend or man just to—you know—see what it looks like!
In Love at the Lodge: An Inviting Cover Shoot at Barn at Bay Horse Inn
Carri Fras | May 4, 2017In today’s world, wedding design is going far beyond a single color or texture. More and more brides are choosing their very own style–their own theme. After partnering with Jodie Stansbury of Aisle Ready Events, we began to swoon over the idea of our own look: a slightly rustic, raw and natural cover shoot with a lodge-like feel. “When researching photos of lodges and lodge décor, we noticed a lot of Navajo patterns being used in the textiles,” Jodie says. “This pattern helped bring in the Sedona twist.” The vision of warm, soft colors and natural elements such as wood, stone, patterned pillows and even antlers had us, well, quite hooked!

The New Bohemian: A Bright, Eclectic Cover Shoot at Blissful Barn
Carri Fras | April 27, 2017It’s no secret that the vintage charm of barn weddings continues to be popular, luring many brides through their rustic barn doors–especially here in the Midwest! While we knew we wanted to use this sought-after venue, we also desired to design a fresh, new take on the typical barn wedding by taking advantage of the current boho trend. After joining forces with Krissy Campbell of Simply Be So Events, a Northern Indiana based wedding and event planning business, it was clear that a bright, bohemian cover shoot, coupled with a woodland feel and a touch of vintage would give us the very (beautiful) edge we so envisioned!
The Wedding Story of Carlson & Bradley Copeland
Carri Fras | April 26, 2017It was early morning business flights at the Columbus, Ohio airport that allowed Carlson and Brad’s paths to cross. But it was an unlikely path they won’t forget. Lucky for Brad, he was meeting their mutual friend for coffee and, lucky for Carlson, she had a flight with the same friend and had made time to wash her hair! “I knew I liked him from day one because he commented on my stylish Frye boots,” she says. “I have a unique sense of style, so it has always been important to me to find someone who enjoys my individuality.”
