The running joke when they started planning was that Becca and Ryan’s wedding wouldn't have a theme. They just wanted to have their wedding and a party, however, Becca soon realized that she was gravitating toward fun and light elements as the planning went along, and a whimsical theme soon began to come together! Ryan added his input with natural elements to reflect his personality, creating a beautiful and harmonious wedding. Everything about their day is colorful yet clean. The centerpieces add just the right amount of color while the elegant lines of the venue make everything feel elevated. One of their favorite details was the panoramic view of Detroit (and Canada!) from the 360 degree windows. Talk about a showstopping view!

Advice from the Couple
“Don’t let your wedding get in the way of your marriage. Even if your wedding feels like the biggest event you’ll ever host, it’s still just one small moment in the lifetime you’ll share with your spouse, so it’s important to be present and keep your relationship centered during the process. There’s so much joy to experience in the little moments which strengthen your relationship, and these will be the stories you tell your kids or grandkids one day: your first tasting (where you learned that purple carrots exist), laughing over the compilation of registry items (we do need the raccoon holding a light-bulb lamp!) or practicing your big 'kiss and dip' in the kitchen (because even if you know that your partner will always hold you up metaphorically, it’s important to know that they can literally, while you’re in heels, too).”
