One of Tiffany's friends encouraged her to swipe right on Kevin, even though she had seen him before on the dating app. After meeting for bubble tea and a walk around Antrim Park, Ohio launched into their full COVID-19 lockdown. Despite Tiffany's qualms about starting a relationship when they couldn't meet in person, Kevin video chatted with her every day. Their third "in-person" date happened in May 2020, and they became an official couple! On a walk to a waterfall in Quarry Trail Park in April of 2022, Kevin successfully disguised the ring he would propose to Tiffany with as an Amazon return. Once they reached the waterfall, he popped the question!

While some brides get lucky and find their dress at their first store, Tiffany didn't have as much luck. "I bought seven wedding dresses in total, unintentionally," Tiffany admits. "I would fall in love with a dress, thinking it’s the perfect wedding or reception dress, buy it, then second guess it after some time or because of a remark a friend/family would make." After searching all over, Tiffany found the one dress that she never second-guessed even if her decision was questioned by others. We think she looks absolutely stunning in this sparkling fitted gown!

Since they had connected over watching a K-drama together while stuck in lockdown, Tiffany and Kevin decided to theme their wedding partially off the show! They also took inspiration from Art Deco style. "Our colors were dark emerald green and dark navy blue (our favorite colors) with accents of gold," Tiffany shares. Kevin also suffers from environmental allergies, so they had to strategically plan the décor around that. The florals incorporated Tiffany's favorite plant, a clover, but their centerpieces were mostly candles. A lot of Tiffany's inspiration came from the wonderful world of Pinterest.

With the theme partially set on K-dramas, Tiffany and Kevin were beyond excited when their photographer recommended a videographer with a cinematic style that fit their vision perfectly. Another recommendation came from Tiffany's sister, and it was to get a planner ASAP. Not only did the planner they chose help narrow and focus their vision, she also assisted in the finer etiquette details of their wedding like setting up a registry and how to address concerns with potential vendors.

What we Love

Inspired by Japanese traditions, Tiffany folded over one thousand origami paper cranes for her wedding day. Tiffany explains, "It was an endeavor I started in November, about five months before my wedding. A few weeks before the wedding, my friends helped me string them into garlands that I hung on an arch as a backdrop." Tradition says that folding one thousand paper cranes gives you a chance to have a wish come true, and we think this wedding day is proof that they do come true!

Advice from the Couple

Tiffany and Kevin advise, "One: Try to rent centerpiece items as much as you can (especially if you plan to have a lot of items). It’s
definitely a hassle to keep track of all the décor items, so hiring a florist who can use their items will better ensure a hassle-free tear down after the wedding. Two: The next morning can be really hectic if you have a lot of wedding items to pack or post-wedding errands to do (like returning suits). Try to get help from your bridal party/family! Three: If you’re planning a big wedding, DO NOT feel bad if you cannot greet or talk to all of your guests. Everyone is understanding and they are there to celebrate and support your new marriage! To help with the guilt, prioritize the people who have traveled far and send personal thank you cards after the wedding."
