Since Sarah grew up going to Lake Maxinkuckee every summer, she knew that was where she wanted to get married someday. With that locale in mind, Sarah and Graham decided to create the perfect relaxed, lakeside getaway for their wedding day. And no summer is complete without color! “Bright colors were central throughout and guests were even encouraged to dress the theme. Everything was casual yet elegant with emphasis on pinks, blues, oranges, etc.,” Sarah gushes. AAYS Event Rentals provided all of the rental staples that made their summery colors pop! We especially love how the bright, patterned details—like the napkins and accent tablecloths—feel reminiscent of watercolor paintings, tying beautifully into the breezy, summer-by-the-lake theme.

What We Love

The most important thing to Sarah and Graham, like most couples, is that they were able to celebrate their love with all the people they love. One member of the family was absent from the day, but they featured their dog Frank on their cocktail sign and with a mini statue on their cake by C'est La Vie Cakes! Another detail that made celebrating that much more fun was the music from DJ Sticky Boots at The Music Place, who kept their guests grooving all night long!
