Natural Romance in Marcellus, Michigan: The Real Wedding of Andrew Thanos and Joseph Foy

Andrew and Joseph's wedding at Gable Hill was inspired by the venue's natural beauty, especially the serene lily pond and the freshly painted barn that set the scene for their day. With guidance from their planner, they assembled a talented vendor team—highlighted by Marco Alexzondra Floral who brought their vision to life with unique details like peonies accented with brown-dyed veins and gold-tipped blooms on their arbor. "Marco was on a ladder in the rain, hand-painting chocolate peonies in 24-carat gold the day of," Andrew gushes. Their theme centered on nature, with earthy browns and greens complemented by vibrant pops of color. Catering was expertly handled by CK Catering, who recommended bone-in chicken to keep it warm—a choice that, paired with a flown-in Japanese BBQ sauce, had guests raving!

 

Advice from the Couple

Their advice to other couples? Andrew shares, "Be patient and get lots of help! Rely on your family and friends for their natural talents, not pushing too hard for them to do things they weren't excited about."
