After meeting through a dating app, Destiny and Drew got engaged on a trip during their shared birthday weekend. Drew took Destiny on a romantic trip to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, where they decided to ride the Ferris wheel. Drew got the operator to stop when they were at the top, where he dropped to one knee and asked Destiny to marry him! "It was magical!" Destiny recalls.

When she went dress shopping, Destiny was convinced she didn't want to walk out with a white dress. However, after trying on numerous dresses, she surprised herself. "I tried on probably fifteen dresses before I found the one," Destiny admits. "Once I tried on my dress, everyone in the room was crying, including my eight-year-old sister. That’s how I knew it was the one!" We think it's absolutely stunning! And we love that Destiny decided to pair it with a veil that has a pop of color in it.

The first idea that Destiny and Drew had when planning their wedding was that they wanted something a little woodsy with a hint of cottagecore whimsy and romanticism. Once they settled on having their nuptials in Tennessee, Destiny and Drew really dove into the rustic theme! Destiny shares, "We used a lot of pastels and mixed in fall colors for the season. We wanted to go for the cottagecore, fairytale kind of vibe." Some of the key details to their day were the thirty milk glass vases for the centerpieces and the faux moss runners on the table. We love how Neeley Photography captured every detail with the same dreamy style!

What We Love

Destiny and Drew poured so much love and care into curating every detail of their big day. "From spending thirty or so hours on invites, to every thrifted milk glass vase and brass candlestick. It was truly a labor of love but so worth it," Destiny explains. And we couldn't agree more! Their dream wedding day come to life beautifully. They even decanted over sixty bottles of perfume and cologne for their guests as an idea from Drew, the cologne connoisseur.

Advice from the Couple

Destiny and Drew advise, "Try not to sweat the little things, and make sure you have a planner or coordinator. It’s one hundred percent worth the money and time and stress it saves you. And when people tell you it flies by, it really does. So enjoy it!"
