This Indianapolis Style Shoot Combines Springtime with Blushing Romance

While the original vision for this style shoot was to reflect spring, the creative team wanted to bring in an air of romance and elegance as well. As a season that symbolizes new beginnings, spring naturally reflects budding love. To bring these ideas together, the team chose a blush-focused color palette to tie everything together beautifully.
 

The venue required little enhancement, as its natural elegance and romantic atmosphere already set the perfect tone. The wooden paneling, the marbled floors and picturesque windows make the space feel like a prestigious dance hall in the Victorian Era, and nothing feels more romantic than stepping into Pride and Prejudice or Bridgerton. But the team had a favorite detail of their own! "The dining hall with the chandeliers offers the perfect bright space needed for the springtime vibes," Britney, the shoot's photographer, shares.
 

To showcase the full vision of the shoot, the team incorporated three distinct dresses and two different tuxedo styles. The first couple reflects a timeless yet modern look. The groom looks sharp in his classic black tux, while the bride’s gown offers a subtle, modern twist on a timeless silhouette and fabric. And we are obsessed with the delicate floral straps and the peek-a-boo lace on the sides of the bodice! The second couple brings the spring side of the shoot to life. A light tux paired with a pastel touch of color are simply perfect for a springtime wedding, and the floral appliques on the bride's dress are both romantic stunning! The final bridal look really amps up the romantic style of the shoot. While the plunging neckline brings in a more sultry air, the voluminous skirt and crown detail breathe regality into the look!
 

Blue Llama Events helped bring the vision together through many thoughtful details. The tablescape is layered with an abundance of glassware, adding depth and refinement to the overall design. We love that the team found the perfect pink goblets to match the blush in the plates and the florals, while the golden dinnerware and candle holders bring in even more elegance and romance to this shoot!

As a season defined by growth and blooming beauty, spring simply wouldn’t feel complete without an abundance of thoughtfully designed floral elements! The team utilized all kinds of different blooms to add depth to the shoot. The team also embraced floral elements beyond fresh flowers, adding layers of creativity throughout the design. We are obsessed with the floral tablecloths and that every dress has some kind of floral detail on it. The cake is another place where floral details take the spotlight! Not only are the pink icing flowers beautiful, but they also perfectly tie the cake to the rest of the shoot!
