Rooftop Romance in Indianapolis: The Real Wedding of Megan & Scott Chain

While Megan had a general vision for her and Scott's wedding, securing the perfect venue was the first priority. Once she discovered the luxury rooftop setting, she settled on an elegant and understated celebration that would allow both the Indianapolis skyline and their love story to shine! When it came to the design, Megan knew she wanted to incorporate color but spent time deciding on the right palette. “Early on in the planning, I was debating between light pink, light blue or sage green to keep it neutral and classy. It wasn’t until I had my bridesmaids try on each of those colors of dresses before I made my actual decision, and once I did, everything else fell into place,” Megan shares. The soft green tones ultimately proved to be the perfect choice, beautifully complementing the natural elements and timeless elegance woven throughout their wedding day!

 

What We Love

Two special moments from their wedding stood out to Megan and Scott. Because Scott had lost his mother to breast cancer and neither of his parents could be there to celebrate in person, one of his groomsmen surprised him with a watch engraved with a photo of him and his mom, along with the heartfelt message, “I’m proud of you – Mom.” For Megan, Scott had their flower girl deliver a handwritten note to her while she was getting ready. The note also included a necklace with his initial and the initials of their two dogs on it. Those two pieces of jewelry will be cherished forever!
