Female-owned businesses take center stage in this chic style shoot! Ryan Abney, the owner of Ryan Abney Event Design, conceptualized a micro-wedding shoot that focused on neutrals. “There is beauty in simplicity when the design elements are intentional and focused. Neutrals provide an opportunity to utilize a more substantive color story in varying hues,” Ryan explains. “I also wanted to focus on were women-owned businesses and BIPOC models.”
These boho-style floral arrangements aimed to hold attention while staying simple in design. "The idea was to highlight the beauty that can be achieved using dried floral elements," Ryan explains.
This shoot is so elegant, it needed two dresses! The first model is wearing a gown that shows off a restrained elegance. The second model showcases a simple, yet dynamic gown that was chosen to directly contrast the first. The hair and makeup of each bride was different, while maintaining a focus on muted elegance. We think Smitten Mitten Photography captured all the gorgeous details on these gowns flawlessly!

This stationery set is defined by simple and clean lines, keeping on the theme of muted elegance.
The velvet used in the tablescape provides some texture to the neutral design. The multicolored drinks in a variety of glassware set on the table bring subtle additions of color to this soft color palette!
